Fluent in Spanish and English, Aracely’s linguistic proficiency enriches her ability to connect with individuals navigating medical coverage options. Originally from Colombia, she has served her community for over 20 years, initially as a Professional Secretary and later as a certified Health Promoter.
Since 2007, Aracely has been committed to healthcare advocacy, starting with Orange County Healthy Start before joining Covering Central Florida in September 2015. Her passion lies in her work on the Navigators project, where she offers invaluable support to families and individuals, ensuring access to essential medical resources.
Aracely’s dedication has earned her recognition from The Farmworker Association of Florida and Primary Care Access Network for her commitment to supporting farmworkers and her outstanding mentoring and cultural representation within the community. Beyond work, she finds joy in spending time with her family, reading, and traveling, embodying her life motto: “do what you love and love what you do.”
