Job Opportunities with Primary Care Access Network

Working on the Covering Central Florida Project with Primary Care Access Network (PCAN) provides an opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of Central Floridians. We work with many local community partners to help individuals find a place for affordable healthcare and coverage.

Our Health Insurance Marketplace Navigators cover a 4-county area including Lake, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Positions vary from part-time to full-time and are located with various agencies in the region. The right candidates for positions will educate and assist individuals, families, and community partners in understanding insurance options as available through the Health Insurance Marketplace and provide assistance in completing the application process.

Project Director

Full-Time

Overall leadership to the the Marketplace Navigator Project to assist and educate individuals, families, and community partners in understanding the Health Insurance Marketplace, part of the Affordable Care Act.

Director of Outreach and Quality Assurance

Full-Time

Oversees the outreach efforts of the Navigator Program and manages all the quality assurance for the customer service aspect.

Administrative Coordinator

Part-Time

Report directly to the Project Director and provides support in multiple administrative areas.

Positions are on a one-year contract basis with a strong possibility of an additional two years dependent on grant funding. Some positions will be in a clinical setting and require evening hours. Covering Central Florida Marketplace Navigators are available to help answer any questions, listen to feedback, or other inquiries using our support form. All services are offered completely free of charge to everyone.

The Special Enrollment Period is a time outside the yearly Open Enrollment Period when you can sign up for health insurance based on certain life events.
