A Coverage Success Story with the Help of Grace Medical Home

It started with a standard appointment with Jennie Urshan for Saul, to compare and find an affordable health plan that would meet his needs.
Jennie was excited to tell Saul that he qualified for medical insurance. When she shared the news, she could tell he was excited at first that he reached this milestone in his life, but then she noticed that he seemed upset and asked him about it. Saul was afraid that his Grace family would be upset with him for leaving. Jennie explained that Grace was created to help patients when they are in need and ensure their success after leaving us. ”Grace wants to make sure when our patients leave, they leave prepared,” said Jennie.
As their meeting concluded, Jennie escorted Saul back to the Welcome Room to say goodbye. When the Front Desk heard the exciting news that Saul was leaving Grace because he found insurance coverage, they shared it on the radio throughout Grace. Everyone gathered around him to congratulate him, say goodbye and pray for him as Jennie translated in his native Spanish language. Saul was moved to tears.
Saul wasn’t the only one; all those involved were touched by the experience. Jennie shared, “All I kept thinking was, what a blessing it is to be part of the Marketplace, that allowed me to be a part of Grace Medical Home, so I could see how God works in such a sweet, graceful way.”
